Jonni Laine appointed Deputy Managing Director of eSett

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jonni Laine as the Deputy Managing Director of eSett, effective from February 20th, 2025.

Minnakaisa Ahonen, CEO of eSett, shares, “Jonni and I have a long history of successful cooperation and this change will enable us to take eSett’s corporate governance and operational efficiency to the next level.”

Jonni Laine, with 15 years of experience in electricity markets, has previously worked as a Specialist at Fingrid Oyj and later held key positions at eSett as the Development Manager and the Head of Market Development. Since 2018, Jonni has been the Executive Vice President at eSett, while managing the Finance & Risk Management unit.

Laine expresses his gratitude for the trust that eSett’s Board has shown in him and summarizes, “I’m excited to step into my new role and honored to have more responsibility in a company like eSett.”
